New Jersey Future, a nonprofit organization concerned with smart growth and statewide sustainability, collaborated with multiple local and statewide partners to produce a guide that can be used as a model for NJ cities and towns on how to pinpoint potential climate change-related issues in their communities.

It’s called the Guide to Local Climate Change Adaptation Planning, and a fuller explanation of its content and purpose – and the guide itself – may be found on the New Jersey Future website here.

New Jersey Future was founded in 1987 by senior corporate, civic, and environmental leaders to advance smarter land use and growth policies. Partners in the development of this guide include Sustainable Jersey, the NJ Department of Environmental Protection and other local and state organizations concerned with sustainability issues.
