KEEP FAITH WITH THE GREEN WHILE YOU’RE WEARING YOUR GREEN AT THE MERCER GREEN FEST 2018

Don’t miss the Mercer County Green Fest, our local area green fair promoting green living for Mercer County families, on Saturday, March 17th from 11 -4 at Rider University Student Recreation Center. We’re working hard to ensure that this year’s event will be bigger and better than ever. The event will feature live entertainment, local sustainable businesses, sustainable community groups, a farmer’s market, local live entertainment, local fresh food at our lunch cafĂ©, demonstrations, and speakers throughout the day. There will be fun for the whole family!

More than 70 eco-friendly business and organizations will be offering information and incentives to help you to go green and save money. Visitors can learn about a wide variety of sustainability issues and exciting community projects such as bike trails, food waste recycling programs. energy efficiency, electric cars, health, exercise & wellness, and science fair projects from area schools.

There’s plenty for the kids to do too with lots of entertainment for a fun Saturday afternoon.

A farmers market will feature local farms and local artisan food producers. A lunch celebrating locally sourced and seasonal ingredients with be available for purchase.

The Mercer Green Fest is organized by Mercer County Sustainability Coalition(MCSC), a partnership of green teams from Lawrence Twp. Environment and Green Advisory Committee, East Windsor Twp., Ewing Green Team, Hopewell Valley Green Team, Sustainable Lawrence, Sustainable Princeton, Trenton Green Team, West Windsor Township, Mercer County Office of Economic Development and Sustainability and Stony Brook-Millstone Watershed Association.
